The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends among the top photography apps on the Android platform in Madagascar. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Photo Lab Picture Editor & Art experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $12 in the week of October 16. Weekly downloads saw a peak in mid-October at around 10.5K before gradually declining to 2.1K by the end of December. Active users also showed a similar trend, increasing to over 30K in mid-October and then declining to approximately 13.5K by the end of the quarter.

HD Camera: Professional Camera maintained a steady number of weekly downloads, ranging from 1.7K to 2.4K throughout the quarter. Active users increased steadily from 2.9K at the start of the quarter to nearly 5K by the end of December.

ToonApp Cartoon Photo Editor had a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.7K in late October before dropping to around 700 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 3.9K at the end of October and then declining to 2.5K by the end of the quarter.

GCamera: GCam Better photos saw a modest increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.2K in early November before stabilizing around 800 by the end of December. Active users also increased from 2.3K in late September to nearly 2.8K by the end of the year.

ProCam X - Lite :HD Camera Pro saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at 1.1K in mid-November. Active users increased steadily from 1.5K at the start of the quarter to 1.7K by the end of December.
